Bettering Yourself For Your Future

Hey, I'm Wes

I have been a math tutor for 13 years, working with students from third grade through college-level calculus. I have supported students who have struggled with math for years, helping them pass their math courses with confidence, as well as high-achieving students looking to get ahead or prepare for the SAT. I have an Associates Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Mathematics and I've been working in multiple different roles at a full K-12 private school for several years now. I build strong connections with my students, fostering an engaging learning environment that sparks their desire to learn and succeed in math.

Struggling?

Students struggle for different reasons, from lack of fundamentals to an inability to understand word problems. These struggles can be dealt with by understanding how to use math as a tool. Just like understanding how your car runs helps to deal with issues as they arise.

Getting Ahead?

Many students who already have a strong grasp of the subject look to either begin to prep for the next year's math course, or simply get ready for the SAT. Either way, that ambition should be encouraged and reinforced.

Is Tutoring Right For You?

Yes.

I may be biased, but I believe every student can benefit from tutoring. Whether it’s strengthening basic skills like addition and subtraction or mastering strategies to simplify longer, more difficult equations, I help students build confidence and achieve their goals. Just as accomplished vocalists rely on coaches to refine their craft, even the best students can gain valuable techniques to enhance their math skills. With personalized support, I create an exciting and rewarding learning environment for your child to thrive.
